The Northern Neck Orchestra’s 2022-23 concert season will open Saturday, October 15, at the Lancaster Middle School Theater, 191 School Street, Kilmarnock. The concert will start at 7:30 p.m. and will be preceded by a pre-concert talk at 6:45 p.m.
Tickets are $40. Season tickets for three concerts are $96. Tickets can be purchased at the door or www.northernneckorchestra.org. Students are admitted free.
The concert will start with a grand flourish: an exhilarating performance of Virginia-based composer Adolphus Hailstork’s brief, but memorable explosion of joyful sound, “Fanfare on Amazing Grace.”
