
On a crisp, sunny Saturday morning in Merry Point, a group of Northern Neck Audubon Chapter members and volunteers gathered to create housing for feathered friends.
Eight like-minded folks enthusiastically set up an assembly line and in 3.5 hours constructed the first 50 bluebird nesting boxes for the chapter in several years, reported communications chairman Jerian Abel. It was a fun experience for all and served as a “dry run” for the next….
