Northern Neck Bike Club promotes positive experiences

The Northern Neck Bike Club recently completed its 2025 VAHS Race Series with the local team placing 18th among 28 teams in the middle school division and 15th among 24 teams in the elementary division, according to club organizer Chris Cornwell.

The VAHS MTB is the official USA Cycling Interscholastic mountain bike race series and offers competitive racing for riders of all ability levels.

Each event has separate race divisions for both boys and girls for lower elementary school, grades 1-2; upper elementary, grades 3-5; middle school A & B, grades 6-8; freshman, sophomore, JV, and varsity. Most races are on primarily single track trails and are multiple lap events to provide a spectator-friendly experience for….
