The fourth annual Northern Neck Karate Tournament, hosted by Rising Eagle Martial Arts, will start at 10 a.m. April 8 at Chesapeake Academy, 107 Steamboat Road, Irvington.
Competition will include sparring, weapons and/or kata forms for an entry fee of $15. Registration is on the day of the event. Spectators will be asked only for a donation.
This tournament is being held to raise money for the ASK Childhood Cancer Foundation in honor of friend, 8 year old Matthew Rose, 8, of Fredericksburg, reported Donna Clark.
