
Meet Marianna Martines, for the first time for many, one of 18th century Vienna’s most renowned composers, singers, harpsichord players, pianists and composers, whose ground-breaking Symphony in C, will be featured at the Northern Neck Orchestra’s March 1 concert.
The concert, also featuring works by Johann Sebastian Bach and George Frideric Handel, will begin at 7:30 p.m. at Lancaster Elementary School Theater, 191 School Street, Kilmarnock. Music director Michael Repper will deliver a concert preview at 6:45 p.m. Admission is by season subscription or $40. Tickets may be purchased at www.northernneckorchestra.org or the door. Students are admitted free with an online reservation.
