The Northern Neck Orchestra will feature the Virginia premiere of Florence Price’s tone poem “Ethiopia’s Shadow in America” on March 5 at the Lancaster Middle School Theater, 191 School Street, Kilmarnock.
The orchestra also will perform Haydn’s Cello Concerto with guest soloist Camden Archambeau and Mozart’s Symphony 41, Jupiter.
The performance will begin at 7:30 p.m. and will be preceded by a pre-concert talk by music director Michael Repper at 6:45 p.m. Tickets are $36 and may be purchased at www.northernneckorchestra.org. Students are admitted free. School regulations require that concertgoers wear masks and maintain social distancing.
