The public is invited to savor the flavor of Virginia wines, beer and spirits on April 20 at Rice’s Hotel/Hughlett’s Tavern, 73 Monument Place, Heathsville. The Northern Neck Wine, Brew & Spirits Fest will be held from 11 a.m.-4 p.m., as part of the Heathsville Farmers Market and “Make It a Heathsville Saturday.”
Tasting tickets will be sold at the gate for $10, which includes a free etched glass. Food and other wine-related vendors will participate.
Six wineries will be pouring, including Good Luck Cellars, General’s Ridge Winery, Vault Fields Vineyards, Caret Cellars, Mattaponi Winery and the new Vintners Cellars, reported Corinne Becker. Port City Brewery will offer beer tastings. Copper Fox Distillery and Bondurant Brothers Distillery will also be represented.
