HEATHSVILLE—The Northumberland County Circuit Court convened Tuesday, August 19, with the Hon. John S. Martin presiding.
In the case of Kevin M. Kelly of Callao, charged with assault and battery of a family member, third or more offense, counsel was appointed and a status hearing was set for September 2.
Terry K. Self Jr. of Farnham pleaded nolo contendere to issuing false statements of his criminal history on consent forms. A deferred disposition was set for February 10, 2026.
In the case of Winfield A. Bea of Heathsville, charged with committing an indecent act with a child while acting as their custodian, sentencing was carried over to September 9.
