HEATHSVILLE—The Northumberland County Circuit Court convened Tuesday, November 14, with the Hon. R. Michael McKenney presiding.
In the case of Myshaun T. Porter of Burgess, charged with two counts of distribution/selling for profit Schedule I/II drugs, the case was continued to November 28.
In the case of Jennifer L. Belfield, a.k.a. Jennifer Runninger, of Virginia Beach, charged with probation violation on a felony offense, a trial was continued to April 23, 2024.
Johnshonika J. Gregory of Heathsville pleaded guilty to not reporting a vehicle accident resulting in injury. She was sentenced to 10 years with nine years and six months suspended. Her operator license was additionally suspended for a year and she was put on supervised probation for one year. She faces $1,991.80 in costs. She additionally pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor charge of driving on a revoked/suspended license and was sentenced to 12 months with 12 months suspended.
In the case of Nicole I. Hudson of Callao, charged with arson of personal property valued over $200, an arraignment was continued to December 5.
In the case of Reginald M. Smith of Lancaster, charged with four counts of probation violation on a felony offense, an arraignment was continued to November 21.
In the case of Edward C. Barnes II of Reedville, charged with possession of Schedule I/II drugs, sentencing was continued to November 21.
