HEATHSVILLE—The Northumberland County Circuit Court convened Tuesday, July 9, with the Hon. John S. Martin presiding.
In the case of Marcus A. Curry of Kilmarnock, charged with assault on a law enforcement officer, a review was continued to July 1, 2025.
Bennie T. Lee of Reedville pleaded guilty to distributing/selling Schedule I/II drugs for profit. He was sentenced to five years with four years and five months suspended. He faces $575 in costs and will be placed on supervised probation for five years. Two additional charges of distributing/selling Schedule I/II drugs for profit were nolle prossed.
In the case of Myshaun T. Porter of Burgess, charged with probation violation on a felony offense, a capias was issued and Porter was not found. Porter remains a fugitive.
