HEATHSVILLE—The Northumberland County Circuit Court convened Tuesday, June 10, with the Hon. John S. Martin presiding.
In the case of Ernest J. Polk of Heathsville, charged with violation of his deferred disposition, a capias was issued and Polk was not found. The case was continued to July 22. Polk remains a fugitive.
Joshua B. Saddler of Heathsville pleaded nolo contendere to felony larceny by obtaining a credit card number and four misdemeanor counts of credit card fraud. The case is under advisement and a deferred disposition was set for June 9, 2026. Saddler was placed in a community corrections program.
In the case of Omar A. Galeas of Richmond, charged with breaking and entering an occupied house to commit a misdemeanor, a status hearing was set for August 19.
