HEATHSVILLE—The Northumberland County Circuit Court convened Tuesday, July 8, with the Hon. Joseph J. Ellis presiding.
Doris L. Brown of Heathsville pleaded guilty to felony embezzlement of more than $200. Sentencing was set for October 7.
In the case of Cory F. Flannery of Callao, charged with possession of Schedule I/II drugs, a deferred disposition was continued to January 27, 2026.
In the case of Desmond L. Lee of Farnham, charged with six counts of manufacturing/distributing Schedule I/II drugs, third or more offense, the case was continued to August 5.
In the case of Huey A. Singleton of Kilmarnock, charged with exploiting someone mentally incapacitated for more than $1,000, a status hearing was set for August 5.
