HEATHSVILLE—The Northumberland County Circuit Court convened Tuesday, January 20, with the Hon. John S. Martin presiding.
Jennie L. Lansberry of Heathsville pleaded guilty to larceny by unauthorized use of a vehicle. The case was ordered into a specialty docket. Lansberry faces $1,002 in costs and will serve in a community corrections program.
A failure to appear on a felony charge was nolle prossed and a probation violation on a felony offense charge was dismissed.
The case had been continued from January 13.
Reminder, those charged with alleged crimes are presumed innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
