HEATHSVILLE—The Northumberland County Circuit Court convened March 20, with the Hon. R. Michael McKenney presiding.
Dontay N. Davis of Heathsville, charged with a felony probation violation, pled guilty and was sentenced to four years and nine months, all suspended with indefinite probation.
The case of Donald L. Scruggs of Reedville, charged with felony sale or distribution of marijuana and misdemeanor marijuana possession, was continued for trial April 24.
The case of William A. Thompson Jr. of Wicomico Church, charged with three felonies including one count of selling or distributing marijuana and two counts of manufacturing or distributing a controlled substance, was continued for trial July 17.
The case of James S. Webb of Kilmarnock, charged with a felony probation violation, was revoked.
Angelica M. Godbey of Heathsville, charged with a felony pre-trial violation, was granted bond and trial was set for May 1.
The case of Richard I. Bowles of Reedville, charged with three felonies of failing to register as a sex offender, was continued for trial May 1.
The case of Laura M. Heywood of Warsaw, charged with felony manufacturing or distributing a controlled substance, was continued for sentencing April 24.
