HEATHSVILLE—The Northumberland County Circuit Court convened June 12 with the Hon. Herbert M. Hewitt presiding.
Turean T. Johnson, also known as Turean T. Ball, of Warsaw was convicted of five felonies by a jury trial, including two counts of manufacturing Schedule I drugs, two counts of possessing Schedule I drugs and eluding police.
The same jury found Johnson not guilty on two felony charges, one of destruction of property with intent and one charge of robbery. Johnson was also charged with a misdemeanor for failing to stop after an accident and a charge of felony grand larceny, but these were dismissed by the court.
The sentencing date has been set for September 11.
