HEATHSVILLE—The Northumberland County Circuit Court convened July 31, with the Hon. R. Michael McKenney presiding.
Bond was granted for Damien D. Towles of Farnham, charged with one felony count of violating probation on a felony offense. Towles’ trial was set for October 2.
Brandon J. Curry of Lancaster pleaded guilty to one felony count of possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance and was sentenced to serve five years in prison, four of which were suspended.
Gary A. Germain Jr. of Lancaster pleaded guilty to one felony charge for the unauthorized use of a vehicle. Germain’s sentencing is scheduled for September 18.
James W. Walker Jr. of Reedville pleaded guilty to one felony charge of a third offense driving while intoxicated and entered a plea of no contest to one felony charge for driving on a revoked license. Walker was sentenced to serve 180 days in jail, 90 days of which were suspended.
