HEATHSVILLE—The Northumberland County Circuit Court convened November 27, with the Hon. Herbert Hewitt presiding.
The trial of James B. Burt of Heathsville, charged with violating his probation on two felony convictions including taking indecent liberties with a child under the age of 15 and child solicitation, was continued to December 11.
Alicia S. Darby of Warsaw, charged with violating her probation on a felony charge for the possession of a controlled substance, could not be found to be served and did not appear in court.
Bond was granted in the case of Christopher O. Crockett of Heathsville, who appealed the decision of a lower court not to grant him bond and hold him on a charge of driving while under the influence.
