HEATHSVILLE—The Northumberland County Circuit Court convened November 19 with the Hon. R. Michael McKenney presiding.
The trial of Gary M. Butler of Lancaster, charged with one misdemeanor for assault and battery of a family member, was set for February 11.
A hearing in the case of Larry A. Headley of Reedville, who is appealing the condition of his release, was continued to November 25.
A review of the case of Tyrell O. Brown of Hague, charged with one felony for violating his probation on a felony offense, was continued to February 18.
Alicia S. Darby of Warsaw, charged with one felony for manufacturing a controlled substance, was sentenced to serve six months in prison. The prosecution also filed a nolle prosequi on three other felony charges against Darby including two counts for failing to appear in court on felony charges and one count for violating her probation.
William S. Diller of Callao pleaded guilty to two felony charges for violating his probation on a felony offense and his probation was revoked. Diller’s probation in the case of another felony charge for violating his probation on a felony offense also was revoked. The prosecution filed a nolle prosequi in the case of another felony charge against Diller revoking his pretrial release on a felony charge.
The trial of Keywon M. Gaskins of Heathsville, charged with two felonies for violating his probation on felony offenses, was continued to January 28.
