CLARAVILLE—Addressing the Northumberland County School Board on Tuesday, July 6, career and technical education coordinator Jay Lightfoot announced that Lucky Goldstar (LG) will make a generous donation to Northumberland High School’s CTE program.
LG will donate two dishwashers, two ranges, two refrigerators, two microwaves, a washing machine, a dryer and two robot vacuums to the program, said Lightfoot. The appliances will serve as an update to the existing student-kitchen as well as additions to special education classrooms.
“This is a great opportunity to expose our students to evolving technologies and open new and dynamic career fields for consideration,” Lightfoot said.
