CLARAVILLE—The beginning of the 2023-24 school year is just days away for Northumberland County Public Schools (NCPS) as students and teachers prepare to return to the classroom Monday, August 14.
According to director of instruction Adam Letizia, school days will begin at 8 a.m. and will end at 3:05 p.m. The bus and parent drop-off to start the school day will be at 7:45 a.m., he said.
Letizia noted several exciting new additions coming to Northumberland schools this year.
A new academic/athletic complex has been built to serve as a space for STEM enrichment, JROTC programs, wrestling practice and competition space, cheerleading practice and dance team practice. The new field house is….
