HEATHSVILLE—As part of the exercise in reviewing county owned properties at a special meeting on Thursday, July 25, Northumberland supervisor Jimmy Brann said the county should be focused on creating activities for families to do.
Citing the Enchanted Forest in Warsaw, he said, “We need to take a hard look at these lands and if we get rid of some, we should reinvest the money. We’re lacking (recreational activities) and we need to focus on getting it done.”
Brann alsodo mentioned the recent groundbreaking for a new park behind Northumberland Public Library. “They don’t realize how big of a deal it is to have this in this county.
