The Nouvelet Chamber Choir will sing the good news of Christmas at its 15th annual concert at 3 p.m. December 19 at Kilmarnock United Methodist Church, 89 East Church Street, Kilmarnock.
The concert will feature traditional Christmas music, contemporary pieces and spirituals, reported ensemble and music director Wayne Hare.
Nouvelet will be joined by guest soprano soloist Esther Heideman, he said. Nouvelet also will premiere a work commissioned by Dr. Jan Kraybill especially for the choir.
The singers come from all over the Northern Neck, said Hare. Rehearsals will begin at 2 p.m. October 4 at KUMC.
