Northumberland Public Library (NPL), 7204 Northumberland Highway, Heathsville, recently announced its December events.
NPL will host a dinner with Mrs. Claus from 5-7 p.m. Friday, December 6. Reservations are required for this free event, said director Jane Blue. The program, open to all, is geared toward children up to age 12 and will feature stories, songs and crafts. Call the library, 580-5051, or stop by to sign up.
Ongoing activities offered also will include:
• Computer classes, 3-5 p.m. Mondays, December 9, 16 and 30. Classes cover all skills from beginner to expert. Bring a laptop, iPad or phone, or use a library laptop. No sign up is required and all ages are welcome.
