The Northumberland Public Library (NPL) has been awarded a $10,000 grant from River Counties Community Foundation in support of its Learning and Literacy program.
The funding, provided through the Donald W. and Doris B. Lynch Endowment, will allow NPL to add to its collection, including books suggested by Northumberland Elementary School teachers. This is the third year NPL has been awarded a foundation grant.
