The Northumberland Public Library, 7204 Northumberland Highway, Heathsville, recently launched a contest to name the new park behind the library. Submit ideas to library@nplibraryva.org.
No idea is too outlandish, but only one will be chosen, said director Jane Blue.
Submissions will be accepted through 5 p.m. August 8. Be sure to include name and contact information.
The winner will be chosen and invited to the park’s grand opening, said Blue.
