Objects Gallery, 4462 Irvington Road, Irvington will celebrate 11 years of business over the Memorial Day weekend. Objects opened in 2013 in a 1940s remodeled Sinclair gas station, after extensive renovation including removal of the gas tanks in the front.
Cooper will visit from Walhalla, S.C., where she creates her work in a studio nestled in the Blue Ridge mountains.
The gallery will have extended hours over the holiday weekend.
On Saturday, May 25, the gallery will have a special event to meet the artist with food and wine from 4-7 p.m.
“We will also be open on Sunday from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. and Monday from 10 a.m.- 3 p.m. and our visiting artist will be available to explain her techniques for creating her work,” said Houser.
