Oink Juice makes a hit

Folks lined up at the September 5 Irvington Farmers Market to taste test pulled pork and meatballs covered in Montell Jenkins’s homemade sauces at the Mooch’s BBQ booth. His new Oink Juice, a vinegar-based barbecue sauce with a sweet twist, was a hit. Jenkins is a Lancaster High School graduate who now lives in North Carolina. The market, sponsored by the Irvington Village Improvement Association, will continue from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. October 3 and November 7 at the Irvington Commons, 98 King Carter Drive, Irvington. In addition to fresh produce, the market offers a variety of arts, crafts and specialty products.
