On Stage series to conclude with two upcoming shows

The 2021-22 Rappahannock Foundation for the Arts (RFA) On Stage season, “We’re Back on Track,” will conclude at the end of April with two back-to-back productions.

“This past year has been an exciting time for RFA with the cancellations, postponements, and rescheduled shows due to COVID restrictions and unpredictable weather events,” said president Jamie Tucker.

“We are grateful to all involved with the changes that have been required. The artists and agents have been eager to perform and so cooperative, but also, RFA is grateful for the ongoing support by RFA patrons and the local community,” said Tucker.

The Face 2 Face: A Tribute to Elton John and Billy Joel, will be held at 7:30 p.m.  April, 23 at the Lancaster Middle School Theater, 191 School Street, Kilmarnock.

Tribute artists, Ronnie Smith as Elton John, and Mike Santoro, as Billy Joel, will present a high energy, interactive show that has each performer sing and play a solo before a finale where the two piano men play together on separate pianos while sharing lyrics on each other’s songs. 

The Richmond Symphony will close out the season at 7:30 p.m. April 30 at the Lancaster Middle School Theater.
