Historic Christ Church, 420 Christ Church Road, Weems, is getting a new organ. Handcrafted by some of the nation’s premier organ builders, the organ will make its debut at 4 p.m. Sunday, September 29, at a dedication recital.
Organist Giles Cooke will perform both 18th-century music and an original piece composed for the occasion by Mary Beth Bennett. The organ replaces one dating from 1974.
