
KILMARNOCK—On April 5, well over 400 concerned citizens turned out for the Kilmarnock March for Democracy. The march was held in conjunction with the national Hands Off movement to protest the overreach of the current presidential administration.
Of particular concern to this community are the deep cuts to the departments of agriculture, education, veteran affairs and threats to Medicare, Medicaid and Social Security, reported organizer Charlotte Hollings.
One protestor was 90 years old and participating in her first march, said Hollings.
