REGINA—Pamela Pittman Brent, 71, of Regina passed peacefully on Friday, January 3, 2025. She was surrounded by her immediate family and her Best Friend.
Pam was born on October 30, 1953, and has lived in Lancaster all her life. She devoted her life to her children and to the many children she cared for her entire life.
Pam was preceded in death by her husband, Morton Brent; and her parents, Asa and Helen Pittman (Nannie).
She is survived by her daughter, Kelly Kellum and her husband, Brandon of Weems; her sons, Michael Brent of Lancaster and Matthew Brent and his wife, Tara of Lottsburg. She is also survived by her brother, Timmy Pittman and his wife, Kathy of Lancaster. Pam is also survived by her lifetime best friends Connie and Tommy George.
Pam was also blessed with five amazing grandchildren that she cherished, Berkeley, Keegan, Jace, Reagan and Parker. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews whom she loved.
Pam dedicated her life to her children, grandchildren and the many children she had the pleasure to love and help take care of over the years. If you knew Pam, her love of children and family was immense, as she was a Meme to many.
Funeral services, officiated by Richard Abbott, will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, January 8, at Currie Funeral Home in Kilmarnock. Visitation will take place one hour prior to the service. A graveside service will immediately follow at St. Mary’s Whitechapel in Lively.
Donations can be made in Pam’s memory to the ASK Childhood Cancer Foundation, 5211 W. Broad Street, Suite 100, Richmond VA 23230, Team # Berksbattle. This organization was near and dear to her as they supported her grandson Berkeley during his battle with cancer.
