WHITE STONE—Pamela Schumacher Waple, 74, of White Stone, widow of William Braxton Waple, passed away Sunday, November 21, 2021.
Pamela was well known for skills in property management and paved the way for women in this field. She was an avid golfer, a member of the White Stone Women’s Club and Windmill Point Yacht Club. She was also part owner of the Horn Harbor Restaurant from 2007 to 2017. She owned many local rental properties and was a very generous lady to all who knew her.
Surviving are two daughters, Michelle Robbins (Leo) of White Stone and Brigette Gill (Robert) of White Stone; five grandchildren, Kylie Abbott (Travis) of Kilmarnock, Abigail Robbins of Norfolk, Braxton Robbins (Banessa) of Charlottesville, William Gill of Virginia Beach and Emily Gill of White Stone; and two great-grandchildren, Lane and Walter Abbott.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, November 27, at Historic Christ Church, Irvington.
