Pauline H. Fields

KING GEORGE—Pauline Harrison Fields of King George died July 31, 2022, surrounded by her family.

She was born November 5, 1940, in Welcome to the late John Jasper “Jake” and Jennie Hayes Harrison. Surrounded by the love of her family she entered into eternal rest July 31, 2022.

Pauline was educated at Welcome and Ralph Bunche schools. She was a member of Salem Baptist Church in King George, where she served on the kitchen committee, senior choir, senior usher board and deaconess board.

Pauline picked peonies and worked at the Mount Rose Pickle Factory in King George, then at Andrews Air Force Base. Later she joined White Packing where she stayed for over 30 years, then moved to CVS Distribution until retirement.

Pauline was preceded in death by her parents; by brothers, Phillip, William Sr. and John Jasper Harrison Jr.; sisters, Henrietta Jones, June Virginia Smith, Charlotte Harrison and Shirley Harrison; and grandsons, David Duff and Walter Washington.

She is survived by children, David Fields, Dwight Fields, Maxine Darden, Benjamin Fields Sr. and Bernice “Lisa” Garnett; twin sister, Paulette Dorsey; brothers, Alfred Harrison and Walter Harrison; grandchildren, LaQuisha “Kisha” Sargeant, Wesley “Boo” Washington Jr., Dwight Fields, Chameka Ponder, Brendella Fields, Benjamin Fields Jr., Nina Fields, Candice Ponder, Dominic Fields, Antonio Fields, Tianna Payton, Caressa Fields and Tyrone Callahan Jr.; and 43 great-grandchildren.

A funeral was held at 1 p.m. August 6 at Salem Baptist Church with interment in the church cemetery.
