Christchurch School senior Pierce Lambert recently signed a letter of intent to play golf at Hampden-Sydney College next year.
Lambert is the son of Robin and Buzz Lambert of Hartfield. He is captain of the Seahorses golf team and an honor roll student, reported communications associate Jennifer R. Homer. Lambert also plays soccer and basketball. He serves as a student ambassador and is a member of the singing group, Cantorion.
As a junior, Lambert tied for third place in the Virginia Independent School Athletic Association VISAA Division II Golf Championship at Williamsburg National Golf Club and earned All-State honors.
As a ninth grader he was on the VISAA All-State team and qualified for the Division II state tournament, where he finished in second place and had a hole-in-one.
