LANCASTER—Following public hearings without objections, the Lancaster board of supervisors on Thursday, April 28, rezoned two limited commercial (C2) parcels on Irvington Road, making a stretch of five parcels all consistently zoned commercial (C1).
The one exception is an agricultural zoned property owned by Tidewater Telephone Company and operated by Verizon.
One of the applicants, Kenny Kuykendall, spoke on behalf of both applications, his and Kellum Farm Market’s owner Tommy Kellum. The property where Kellum Farms currently operates a market at Old Salem and Irvington roads is already zoned C1.
