HEATHSVILLE—James Caudle Jr. took another step towards opening a furniture repair and retail business in Lottsburg after the Northumberland planning commission voted 8-0 to recommend the approval of a conditional use permit for a one-acre agriculture parcel at 2829 Northumberland Highway.
In addition to repairing furniture, Caudle told the commission he plans to fill the long vacant building with antiques and collectibles. He also plans to re-gravel the parking area around the building, he said.
