HEATHSVILLE—The Northumberland planning commission on Thursday, October 19, again took up solar and commercial tent camping ordinances for further revision. With no quorum, the commission was unable to take any voting action. Heidi Wilkins-Corey, Edwin King, Vivian Diggs, John Kost and Roger McKinley were absent.
Prior to completing any work on the solar ordinance, the commission decided they needed more direction from Dominion Energy and Northern Neck Electric Cooperative about the types of solar projects the county could expect with the current electrical grid.
