Plans for residential development at old Lively school site on hold

LANCASTER—Developer Roy Rogers’s plans for an affordable housing development are on hold pending further review by the Lancaster planning commission.

Following discussion Thursday, August 15, regarding a preliminary development plan, the commission voted 4-0 to table a decision until its September 19 meeting.

Chairman Ty Brent, District 3 member Tara Booth, District 4 member David Chupp and board of zoning appeals representative Steven Sorensen voted in favor of the motion. District 1 member Robert V. Smart, District 2 member Glendon A. Pinn Jr. and District 5 member Thomas Richardson were absent.
