Players polish roles for upcoming comedy

The Lancaster Players will present “Public Speaking 101” at 8 p.m. November 7–8, 14–15 and 21–22 and 3 p.m. November 9, 16 and 23. The Playhouse, 361 Chesapeake Drive, White Stone, will open an hour before curtain call for a social hour and cash bar.

“Public Speaking 101,” is a fast-paced comedy that dives into the anxiety, tension and unexpected humor of a community college class of adults paralyzed by the thought of public speaking, reported community relations coordinator Karen Stanley.

As they prepare for the county’s First Annual Public Speaking Competition….
