Plea deal reached in LaForge murder case

LANCASTER—Under a plea agreement, Jacob Michael Monday of Lively pleaded guilty in Lancaster County Circuit Court on Friday, July 30, to three felonies for second degree murder, concealment of a dead body and using a firearm in the commission of a felony. Sentencing is scheduled for December 10.

Monday was originally charged with first degree murder in the August 23, 2019, death of David LaForge of Northumberland County. LaForge was last seen leaving The Buoy Convenience Store in Burgess where he worked. His body was found….
