“Plein Air Unleashed” will open Saturday, April 22, at Allure Art Center, 419 Rappahannock Drive, White Stone.
The exhibit, featuring works of some of the region’s finest plein air painters will continue through May 21, reported gallery owner Jeff Cherry.
On opening day, several of the plein air painters will offer demonstrations and will be working on new pieces on the grounds and around White Stone, said Cherry. Some painters will also be around on Sunday as well.
“We will be giving away a painting from one of the exhibiting artists created on site that day,” he said.
To win, folks must attend the show between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. and enter their name in the drawing. No purchase necessary, said Cherry.
Any plein air artists interested in joining the exhibiting artists and being on site to paint are welcome, he added.
