Proposed White Stone operations budget for ’26-27 includes a bump in retirement

WHITE STONE—White Stone’s proposed fiscal year 2026-27 operations center budget includes a $7,550 increase. Estimated expenditures include additional donations and a bump in retirement contributions for the town administrator and clerk.

The town council took a first look at a proposed $265,000 operations budget on Thursday, April 2. Council will hold a public hearing and review the public works portion of the budget at its May 7 meeting.

Town manager Patrick Frere said the finance committee included a $5,500 increase in projected revenue from the bank franchise tax and a $4,650 increase in the prepared food tax but….
