The Lancaster Primary School Parent Teacher Association is in need of candy donations for a schoolwide Trunk O’ Treat event October 27.
Trunk O’ Treat provides a safe, fun environment at the school for all students and their families to collect candy and go on a hayride, said president Honey Simmons. There also will be photo opportunities and camaraderie among staff, students and families.
To donate a bag of candy, take it to LPS, 36 Primary School Circle, Lancaster, or Rappahannock Record, 27 North Main Street, Kilmarnock, by October 20.
The PTA is always happy to accept donations of money and/or gift cards or time to help provide the students and faculty of LPS with fun events that take place yearly such as the Trunk ‘O Treat, holiday festivities, guest speakers, the St. Patrick’s Day dance, teacher appreciation week celebrations and dinner for teachers, said Simmons.
