PUD discussion continues in Irvington

IRVINGTON—The planning commission for the town of Irvington last week tried to recover from community backlash over a proposed planned unit development (PUD) ordinance that would allow as many as 400 townhouses on a 20-acre site.

The proposal had pitted planners against residents who claimed that allowing higher density housing would change the quaint character of Irvington.
