Queen Elle McKee Williams will preside over the festivities of the 126th Holly Ball.
The Holly Ball, a Northern Neck Yuletide event, originated in 1895 and began operating as the fundraising arm of the Tidewater Foundation in the 1950s. The Tidewater Foundation anticipates the proceeds of the 2022 ball will have a far-reaching impact on the Northern Neck and Middle Peninsula, as it disperses funds to a diverse group of recipients, reported publicity chairman Patricia Gallagher.
Queen Williams will act as the official hostess of the gala fundraiser. The Williams family has chosen Charles Harrison Williams III to be orator of the 126th Holly Ball.
