QuinTango concert slated October 13

The Rappahannock Concert Association will present QuinTango at 3 p.m. October 13 at the Northumberland High School Performing Arts Theater, 201 Academic Lane, Heathsville. Whether playing original tangos, Piazzolla, or Leonard Cohen reimagined as a tango, this multinational, multigenerational quintet of strings, piano, bandoneon and vocal never fails to deliver an unforgettable Latin jazz experience, reported publicity chairman Delores Meo. This concert is supported by the Virginia Commission for the Arts and the National Endowment for the Arts. Admission is by subscription, or single concert ticket, $35; students free.
