June brings two events to the RAL Art Center, 19 Main Street, Kilmarnock, the Chesapeake Bay and Beyond show and the Great Art Heist.
The June show includes 43 works of art, paintings, photography, pastels, mixed media and jewelry by member artists. All works are available for viewing and purchase, reported Juli Schuszler.
Sherry Hodges of Mathews, a retired educator, judged the show. She presented her choices for awards and her comments at a reception on Friday, June 5.
For first place, Hodges selected “Topping #2,” an oil painting by Pam Hannon. She found the loose brush strokes and relaxed….
