The Rappahannock Concert Association will present the Shtrykov-Tanaka Duo in concert at 7:30 p.m. April 20 at the Northumberland County Schools Performing Arts Theater, 201 Academic Lane, Heathsville.
Clarinetist Maksim Shtrykov and pianist Misuzu Tanaka have been heard throughout the U.S., garnering an impressive record of instant re-engagements, said public relations chairman Nellie Landrum. Their 2018-19 season highlights include a tour in China, a U.S. tour and the duo’s debut album release. “Epilogues” focuses on the last works of three leading composers Johannes Brahms, Camille Sant-Saȅns and Francis Poulenc.
