The Virginia Farm Bureau Federation (VFBF) on Tuesday, November 30, presented the 2021 Journalism Awards during the opening luncheon of the VFBF’s Annual Convention in Williamsburg. The theme of the event was “95 Years and Still Growing.”
The VFBF Journalism Awards recognize exemplary ongoing coverage of agriculture issues, practices and events by print and broadcast news operations, reported VFBF vice president of communications Pam Wiley.
For a 15th time in the award program’s history—and a sixth consecutive year—staff at the Rappahannock Record submitted the winning entry in the category for weekly and semi-weekly newspapers.
