Rappahannock River swimmers complete 12th organized crossing

Ten members of the Stripers Masters Swim Team on Sunday, May 24, participated in the 12th annual swim across the Rappahannock River, despite Mother Nature’s attempt to hinder the event.
The morning dawned a little foggy but fortunately calm as three first timers, Kristin Bienvenue, Lindsey Faulkner and Dave Signori, along with seven veteran river swimmers headed into the not so warm waters, reported Charlotte Hollings.
In preparation for the Chesapeake Bay Swim in three weeks, Hollings swam over and back….
